![]() I can't play the game so I can't tell if this update has done any other damage. My only real issue with the game is that I have completed the most recent update, only to discover that the game crashes every time I tap on it to open it. The inventory becomes a bit of a pain when playing, especially when trying to collect berries to level up characters, I'd like to have more slots but I don't really think its that big of a deal. While the story-mode dialogue is pretty cheesy, but since this game is intended for a much younger audience and is a very minor part of the game, I can't complain. The keys keep you from playing for scary amounts of time. I was genuinely surprised that you use the game's currency to level up your minos instead of using XP, but I like it a lot more and honestly think its an easier system. While the game itself has the "monstery characters fighting" system that Pokemon did, it isn't like Pokemon in any other way, which is great. The artstyle/graphics are surprisingly attractive and different, it doesn't look anything like Pokemon and I'm very thankful for that. It isn't a Pokemon ripoff and has its own unique creature and background designs. ![]() Most of the time, these are events, which are harder than most other modes but completely worth considering what’s in it for you.The game itself is fantastic. Simply tap on the picture of the stones, and take note of where you have to go to get them. Go to the Guardian area in the game and you’ll be able to view the types of Guardian stones in order to unlock the Guardian Mino. Interestingly, Crystal Island is an in-app “item,” but going there allows you to catch a rare Mino called Zyphyrmane. Some of this game’s rarest Minos can only be bought at the in-app store, so that’s something you really will have to deal with. However, if you’re able to catch a Mino but not a guardian stone, that Mino will be elevated to the highest non-Guardian rank. You can also try the Dragon Chest, which isn’t exclusively populated by Minos. You’ll have to pay 50 gems for one chest, and gems are this game’s premium currency. Monster chests, which can be bought in the store, can guarantee you a chance at a rare Mino or better, but mostly a rare one and nothing more. Be sure to level them up (first to Level 25, then to level 50), and once there, hunt for the specific berries they need for evolution. Non-Guardians, however, cannot be evolved to Guardians, but any other Mino can be evolved one tier higher. We’ve got a separate strategy guide that covers evolution in depth, but for purposes of this one, you can also evolve Minos to improve their rarity by a notch. ![]() These monsters are easier to catch if they’re on their last gasp and therefore unable to put up much of a fight. The best thing to do is to sap out their health until they’re close to dying before you draw them in with the candy. But we’re talking easy in a relative sense, as you’ll have to lure them with better candies than the common one you usually bring with you. One of the easier ways to find non-common Minos is to go to the islands. You shouldn’t have a problem unlocking the commons, but when it comes to acquiring Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mega, or Guardian Minos, you’ll want to check this brand-new (and relatively quick) Mino Monsters 2: Evolution strategy guide. And just as they are in games of this nature, you’ve got common Minos, as well as rarer ones that are more powerful. It’s a game that draws lots of influence from Pokemon – the monsters and the mechanics thereof – as you can collect monsters (also known as Minos), level them up, evolve them, and have them battle it out in story mode, PvP, and a few other modes. Mino Monsters 2: Evolution is a mobile game that’s been quite popular since its debut on the App Store and Play Store.
